So when I am reconciling and see an entry that I want to edit, I used to doubleclick on the entry and it would open in the register. Despite the info online about uninstalling your current version, installing a new download and then installing the patch just before your membership expired, I CANNOT perform any transaction manually without having to click ok repeatedly in an annoying dialog box that tells me my membership has expired and I have to renew to perform this transaction. Quicken has made it impossible now to use Quicken offline if your membership has expired. what say you about the pro's and con's of doing that? which i'm considering doing since i never use the online banking/investing tools in the higher versions. if i do bite the bullet and re-subscribe, quicken has offered me the chance of downgrading to quicken basic at a lower cost. So, my question is, can anybody shed any light on this? Is there a workaround, or different way to import those transactions without subscribing? I said that's fine, I never bank online with quicken, or trade stocks or anything like that. They said that my online banking via Quicken would be disabled. But I phoned Quicken before I made that jump, and here's what I think they told me about the actual functionality of an expired program: Of course i knew when i made the change that when my subcsription expired i would lose 1/3 of the screen to a "renewal announcement".
